10 eating Habits to Make your weight loss journey a Success!

1. Eat slowly: Put the fork down in between bites

2. Eat until you are approximately 80% full; once you are 80% full stop your meal and allow your body time to adjust to the feeling of satiety

3. Drink 8 cups of water daily

4. Set a sleeping schedule. Aim for 8 hours each night

5. Eat at least one serving of lean protein with each meal for example seafood, white-meat poultry. Lean beef or soy

6. Take 5 mins break, avoid setting for more than 3 hours on one spot

7. Aim 150minutes of moderate aerobic activities per week such as jogging or brisk walking

8. Strive to eat breakfast to kick start your metabolism

9. Avoid skipping meals; Every time you do, you are sending a signal to your body that there is caloric scarcity and it will hold on to any food that comes in later.

10. Eat everything in small portions including fruits and vegetables. Remember it's not only the eating of unhealthy food that derail weight loss but also the overeating of healthy food.
