Heartburn is caused by acid reflux which results from unlawful relaxation of the ring muscle responsible for allowing food to enter the stomach, hence acid flows from your stomach to your esophagus in turn you experience heartburn.
How to fight it
· Almonds: This is one of the natural remedies of getting rid of acid sensation. Eat 3 or 4 almonds after every meal and it will neutralize the acidic juice in your stomach. They also prevent some instances where acid reflux will occur.
Note that consuming excess can trigger acid, in the same way, they can relief. Strive to consume not more than 4 almonds for the purpose of relieving heartburn.
· Apples: They have antacids that can help fight acid reflux. 1 apple daily will do the trick, or you can consume an apple after a meal before you go to bed.
